2020 Ball Hockey Season - Cancelled
Submitted By Chris Martin on Wednesday, April 1, 2020
Good Afternoon NMBHA Parents/Players,

We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. To all of you on the front lines, please accept our sincerest appreciation. You are doing an amazing job!

We understand that this is an unprecedented time for all of us with the uncertainty that the COVID-19 pandemic is bringing to our lives. We know that people are concerned, scared and frustrated. The situation we are in continues to remain very fluid, changing hour by hour and day by day.

This morning we received notification from the Town of Newmarket that all facilities and buildings will remain closed until further notice.

Facility and Building Closures

All Town of Newmarket buildings and facilities are closed until further notice. As the COVID-19 landscape continues to change, the Town will take direction from the Province of Ontario for the extension of closures and cancellations.

Unfortunately, we have to make the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Ball Hockey Season. We know this is extremely disappointing for all of you and for us as well.

We are in communication with our online registration company to determine how we can issue the refunds. We are also exploring the possibility of rolling over this year's registration to next season for those who may wish to go this route. Please understand that all of this will take time and we are working to have this completed as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Stay safe!

Chris & Sam
